We're so proud to announce that we're in the final in the Sprudge Design Awards, in the category «Outstanding Packaging, Seasonal or Limited Edition».
Sprudge is the world’s most popular coffee publication and a global hub for coffee culture. This year they wanted to honor the best coffee designs in the world and started the Sprudge Design Awards.
We submitted some of the designs we’re most proud of, the winter, summer and autumn campaign designs in 2023, and a jury selected our packaging designs as one of sixteen semi-finalists in the «Seasonal or Limited Edition» category.
By public voting our designs became one of the top five in the final round!
The Norwegian landscape
The design we're nominated for is this years winter, summer and autumn campaigns, with designs reflecting Norway. From north to south, from east to west. From cold winter mornings to warm summer nights.
The winter design reflects a journey through the Norwegian landscape, from skating in the lowlands, traditional cod fishing along the Norwegian coast and nights under the stars in the crisp winter night.
For summer we wanted to create a design that reflects a typical Norwegian summer. What is summer to you? Fresh air along the coast, hot summer days at the beach, fields of wheat and flowers in the middle of Norway or the legendary midnight sun in northern Norway.
Autumn is the time for harvesting in Norway. For this campaign we wanted to celebrate all our coffee farmers around the world, showing coffee harvesting in the origin countries.
Public voting is open
We are so honored to have been voted as one of the five finalists, competing against big coffee companies like Onyx Coffee Lab and 19 Grams Coffee.
– In Norway we are both the largest and oldest speciality coffee roastery, but in an international scale we’re still quite small. To be recognized by an acknowledged publication like Sprudge is huge for us, says graphic designer Benedicte Torvik.
You can now vote for Solberg & Hansen at https://sprudge.com/sdavote and help us in this international competition against some of the world’s largest roasteries.
The voting will run until Monday, November 27th.
