Tasting notes: Rich and sweet with notes of caramel, cocoa and hints of dark berries. Best brewed as pour over, filter coffee or french press.

Rich Autumn Coffee comes from Baba Budan Giri, the birthplace of Indian coffee. The coffee is grown and processed on the generation-run farm, Bettadakhan, giving you a full-bodied cup of coffee with sweet flavors - perfect for autumn.

Badra Coffee traces its roots back to 1943, when the Mammen family established Badra Estates in Chikmagalur in southern India. Today, Badra is run with a strong focus on quality, precision and sustainability, from cultivation and harvesting to processing and drying. Solberg & Hansen has worked with Badra for over 20 years, and knows that Chikmagalur produces some of the best Indian coffee.

Bettadakhan Estate is located high in the Baba Budangiri mountains, between 1100 and 1400 meters above sea level. The area is considered the birthplace of coffee in India, where Baba Budan is said to have planted the first coffee seeds from Yemen in the 17th century. The high-altitude conditions produce dense coffee beans with good conditions for complexity and sweetness. At Bettadakhan, the coffee berries are hand-picked and slowly dried on raised beds, with careful control throughout the entire processing.
