Christmas Espresso - Acedga, Colombia

This year’s Christmas Espresso is harvested in Gaitania in Tolima. The small-scale farmers who produce this coffee are all part of the skilled farming group ACEDGA, where everyone shares the same dream: to produce and deliver coffee of the highest quality.

Christmas Espresso is certified organic.

With a dream of growing high-quality specialty coffee, 72 coffee farmers in Tolima came together to form the farm group ACEDGA in 2006. Since then, they have worked to improve the quality of coffee cultivation with a focus on sustainable agriculture and knowledge exchange. This has resulted in several of the coffee farmers in ACEDGA taking places in the Cup of Excellence Colombia.

Located at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level, Tolima is a renowned coffee region in central Colombia. The volcanic soil and annual rainfall of over 1,700 millimeters make the conditions for coffee cultivation very good.
