Whole Beans
Tasting notes: Delicate and juicy. Vanilla on fragrance. Taste of garden berries and fresh raspberries.
Since 1957, hundreds of small-scale farmers have delivered ripe coffee cherries to the Kevote washing station. Here, at the foot of Mount Kenya, the coffee is grown in rich, volcanic soil.
Kevote Coffee Factory was established more than six decades ago by a collective of 150 smallholder farmers. In its current state, the factory collaborates with over 900 farmers in the Embu region to process their coffee. The washing station, managed by the Kirurumwe Farmers' Society, is located in the Makengi micro-region, renowned for its optimal growing conditions in the production of high-quality coffee.
